Seon Eun-woo and Yoon Jae-won see Baek Seung-gyu standing outside of her home. Eun-woo and Seung-gyu go to a cafe to talk. Seung-gyu asks her who that guy was from earlier. She tells him that he's a person she's comfortable with enough to scratch each other's backs. They lived in the same neighborhood when they were young and he's staying with her temporarily due to personal reasons. Seung-gyu asks if she's dating him, but changes his comment to he's glad she looks happy. She responds with he must feel less guilty now.
Eun-woo leaves Seung-gyu and joins Jae-won in front of a mart for beers. She lets him know that Seung-gyu just wanted to tell her that she looks happy and it's a relief. Clever Jae-won laughs as he says it doesn't make any sense to wait for her in front of her house just to say that. It's a lie and that guy is far from being relieved. Eun-woo mentions that she misses Seung-gyu and had a lot of stuff to say, but their talk didn't go the way she wanted.
Jae-won's coffee shop has its grand opening. Eun-woo brings her coworkers to show support. All of the women gush over the owner being a flower boy (handsome) and one of them recognizes him from when he dropped off files at the company. The coworker that recognizes him happens to be Seung-gyu's girlfriend, Kim Hye-won.
Hye-won brings Seung-gyu to Jae-won's coffee shop to try it since it was really good when she went with Eun-woo. An employee points out that Seung-gyu was the guy that left the rings last time and the girl Jae-won knows is the poor girl that was abandoned. Jae-won sits there in the dark after the shop closes thinking about how Eun-woo must've hurt. For the Wednesday 3:30 PM Project date he brings her to a dumpling shop that used to be her cure-all medicine when they were growing up. They thought the shop closed 10 years ago, but it just moved.
That night, there was a thunderstorm and they both had a hard time sleeping. They run into each other in the middle of the night trying to take Huchu back to their rooms to cuddle. Unwilling to give in they both sleep on the floor in the living room with their hands on top of Huchu. By morning, they had their legs wrapped around each other and hugging very naturally.
